2026 OPENING FAST!
Let’s start this year off right with a Fast unto the LORD! Prepare your hearts and minds to begin on Monday 1/12/26 and end on Sunday 1/18/2026!
🕖 We will be praying together on Zoom every evening at 7:00 PM throughout the fast.
What type of fast?
This is between you and the Lord —
• You may do a complete fast (for the fasting giants 😄 — water only), or
• A partial fast (for example: 6am–6pm, or one meal a day).
If you choose a partial fast, we want to gently encourage us all to refrain from foods that overly please the flesh, and instead choose things that nourish and sustain the body — such as raw fruits and vegetables, light soups or broths with vegetables, and baked fish if you must. I think you get what I’m saying 😊
We also encourage refraining from sugar, dairy, and starches, and liquid-wise, sticking to water and tea.
As we enter this time together, let us remember Acts 2:42, and also the power and authority that Apostle Peter walked in, and how we grow in confidence to operate in Jesus’ authority:
through prayer, intimacy, obedience, and a deep understanding of our identity in Christ Jesus.
Communion will still take place and prayers will otherwise resume normally. We are so excited to join in spiritual communion with you all! In Jesus’ mighty name!
